Well Pharmacy, UK’s largest independent pharmacy chain, is delighted to announce the promotion of Ifti Khan to the role of Pharmacy Superintendent.
After an incredible 20 years’ service, Janice Perkins will be leaving Well this month and handing over to Ifti, who has been part of her leadership team for the last decade.

Ifti Khan has worked in Community Pharmacy for nearly 30 years, starting his career as a Pharmacist. During his 16 years at Well Pharmacy, Ifti’s career has gone from strength to strength in key roles including Operations Management – Pharmacist Resourcing, NHS Standards and Services Manager, Data Governance Manager and more recently Deputy Pharmacy Superintendent.
Over the last 18 months, Ifti played a leading role in Well’s response to the Covid pandemic creating communications, risk assessments and policies to help protect colleagues, patients and communities.
Outside of his responsibilities at Well he is Vice-Chair and Governance Lead for Greater Manchester LPC. He holds multiple positions across the LPC and is also Chair of the Governance Sub-Group, as well as a committed member of the HR, Finance, and Services Sub-Groups. Ifti is also a member of the Pharmacy Provider Board (PPB) and Primary Care Provider Board (PCPB) at Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership (GMHSCP).
